Gannett Health Services is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner to provide occupational medicine services to university faculty and staff. Responsibilities include medical surveillance of faculty and staff with occupational exposures; medical evaluation of workplace exposures, injuries, and illnesses; primary health care for university faculty, staff, and students; and participation in GHS programs, including health promotion and outreach activities.

Qualifications:
Required:
        * Graduation from accredited school of nursing program
        * Graduation from an accredited nurse practitioner program
        * Current license to practice as registered nurse in NYS
        * Current certificate to practice as nurse practitioner in NYS
        * Masters degree in clinical specialty or equiv experience
        * AANP or ANCC nurse practitioner certification is required within one year of employment
        * Experience with desktop productivity tools and applications including Excel, Word, Filemaker or similar database software
        * 2-3 years clinical experience as a nurse practitioner in primary care
        * PR BLS level certification required within one year of employment and maintained yearly
Prefered:
        * Formal education in occupational health or equivalent experience
        * 1-2 years clinical experience in occupational health
        * American Board for Occupational Health Nurses certification
