Job Description

The Aurora Sheboygan Clinic is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work in our highly collaborative and leading edge environment of the Walk-In-Clinic Department.
Due to our commitment to shared decision-making, the Registered Nurse is accountable for the provision of nursing care and the coordination of care for the patient in collaboration with medical staff. They provide work direction to the clinical staff and patient education through patient triage.

    * Assessing, planning, and evaluation the needs of a patient.
    * Assessing patient, family, and/or significant others educational needs and providing teaching/counseling.
    * Anticipating and recognizing changes in a patient's status and need for care.
    * Integrating health promotion and preventive aspects of care.
    * Providing telephone consultation/triage to patient, family, and/or significant others according to protocol and AMG guidelines.
    * Assuring quality of care through development, implementation, and evaluation of professional nursing standards.
    * Functioning independently utilizing time management skills and functioning as part of a team.
    * Promoting collaboration among the disciplines.
    * Participating in quality assurance activities.

General Qualifications     
    * License Registered Nurse in State of Wisconsin.
    * 2 3 years experienced RN (within the last 10 yrs) in a medical surgical setting or nursing home or comparable specialty experience required.
    * Strong clinical and assessment skills to include IV administration.
    * Current CPR certification required or it must be renewed within six months of hire date and maintained annually. Strong customer service, patient center care, teaming, communication and computer skills (including windows)
