JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Develop working relationships with customers, Operating Room (OR) and Materials managers and staff.
2. Provide supervision to and develop Account Representatives.
3. Respond to product/service complaints as required.
4. Work cooperatively with Area Director of Sales to provide optimal support to sales force.
5. Utilize knowledge of GMP and FDA requirements as they apply to the facility and customer.
6. Conduct utilization analysis at assigned accounts at a minimum of twice a year; prepare and participate in presentation of results.
7. Assist and educate customers: design and conduct in-service and evaluation programs to meet customer needs, introduce SRI products, participate in loss prevention activities, monitor sharp incident program, and act as resource for clinical issues.
8. Assist in marketing activities; participate in customer facility tours.
9. Participate in product development activities.
10. Assist in sales support and clinical development, utilizing communication skills and target account penetration information.
11. Other duties as may be assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Nursing with a Bachelor’s degree. Current R.N. licensure. Knowledge of AORN, OSHA, and AAMI standards as they apply to the facility and customer.
Experience:
Three years clinical experience in an inpatient OR setting; two years OR nursing management experience (prefer CNOR) required. Knowledge of peri-operative nursing.
Skills and Abilities:
1. Able to maintain R.N. licensure; remain pro-active in field.
2. Willing and able to travel on regular basis; maintain adequate transportation. Ability to drive and/or ride in a car for several hours at a time.
3. Ability to stand for extensive periods of time.
4. Ability to lift packages of up to 50 lbs.
5. Excellent organizational and follow through skills.
6. Flexible and self-motivated.
7. Ability to communicate and function well in the OR environment.
