Job Title    Nurse Industrial (Night Shift) (d)
External Job Description    Develops and administers the employee health programs for the McPherson facility. Provides skilled nursing care for occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries. Establishes and maintains an adequate system of usable records and reports to include: daily health log, individual medical file, work related injuries and illnesses and reports as required by management, state and federal agencies such as worker’s compensation, OSHA, and Kansas Department of Human Resources. Assists in training and re-certification of first aid attendants, and in planning for emergency care in catastrophic emergencies. Performs annual audiometric testing for the hearing conservation program and annual vision tests for employees performing “light testing” duties. Coordinates medical surveillance physical examinations for employees exposed to toxic substances.
Skills/Experience Education/Certification    Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must be certified and licensed registered nurse. Four years experience in occupational health nursing or equivalent experience. Must possess administrative, oral and written communication skills. CPR certification and knowledge of occupational/safety and health regulations is preferred. Some counseling and administrative skills are helpful.
