Description
Homestead Hospital is seeking a highly skilled ICU Nurse with a positive, caring, and excellent team player attitude to work on our ICU Team.  Today, Homestead Hospital is a 120-bed, community hospital.  Our new $135 million facility opened May 6, 2007, at its new location just east of Florida’s Turnpike.  The new hospital, triple the size of the former facility, has the latest technology and equipment.  Natural light, soothing colors, plenty of open spaces and all private rooms’ help to create a warm and healing environment for our patients.  Our hospital includes medical-surgical units, an intensive care unit with eICU LifeGuard, surgical services, and sophisticated outpatient diagnostic testing that includes digital mammography, MRI and CT scanners.
This is an average paced setting with 16 ICU beds.  Average patient to nurse ratio is 2:1 or 3:1 Our RN's are highly supported by a competent and caring management team, as well as Patient Care Technicians as census dictates.  In addition, we believe in supporting our team by offering the best technology.
Candidates must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, and be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Florida.  In addition, the ideal candidate must have:
    * ACLS, BLS certifications.
    * Minimum 1 year experience in acute care critical care preferred.
    * Comfort level with technology
This is a Full Time position working 3 shifts per week.
