- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individual patient care according to standards.
- Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers in the implementation of plans of care.

- Administration of medications, monitor patients’ response to medication and documents.
- Repair and / or requisition trays equipment needed by the patients and in assisting physicians.
- Assist in carrying out procedures and doctors order according to accepted standard.
- Applies specific principles in performing nursing procedures and technique. Keeps abreast with nursing ad medical progress.
- Implements plan of care and documents in medical record.
- Performs therapeutic measure prescribed and delegated by medical authority.
- Assists the provision of optimum physical and emotional environment.
- Assist patients in their activities of daily living along with health education and rehabilitation including the promotion of mental health.
- Evaluates patient’s response to care, expected outcomes and updates plan of care.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the room.
- Respond to any emergency condition.
- Ensures a discharge plan is a part of the individualized plan of care.
- Engages in patient/family/staff teaching to achieve the desired patient outcomes.
- Participates in staff training and departmental improvement activities and uses the results of the quality of care activities to initiate change in practice.
